Lehman-Roberts Co. and sister company Memphis Stone & Gravel, a leader in the highway paving, construction, asphalt and aggregate industry, has promoted Jarod Riles to General Superintendent and Preston Bryson to Superintendent. Riles reports to Michael Ellis, VP of Construction, and Bryson reports to Riles.
“One of our greatest strengths this year has been Jarod’s focused leadership and complete dedication to his team, our customers and the future of our companies,” said Michael Ellis. “We are extremely fortunate to have Jarod and Preston, who are not only proven leaders, but also role models for our team and our industry. Because of their contributions, I feel confident about our future and the bench strength of our foremen and lead men, too.”
Having led the Memphis-based construction teams for nearly three years, Riles will now oversee construction resources company-wide. Over his 22-year tenure, he has performed in every role possible on the construction team, rising to equipment operator and paving foreman before moving into his current role.
Bryson will take over Jarod’s former role leading the Memphis-based paving, milling and grading teams. With the companies for 35 years, his experience leading paving teams and operating equipment, combined with his knowledge of the industry and market, made him the ideal candidate. Previously, Preston worked as Project Superintendent for two years.
