Cody Meyers is taking the next step in his career with Lehman-Roberts, A Granite Company, recently earning a promotion to Foreman of Plant 1 in Winona, Mississippi. On the heels of his promotion, Cody was also nominated for a Blueprint for Excellence spotlight.

Cody has built a reputation for stepping up, taking on new challenges, and helping wherever needed.
Cody began his journey at Plant 1 as a ground man and has continued to grow through his experience, knowledge, and willingness to take on more responsibility. That growth recently led to his promotion to Plant Foreman at Plant 1, an exciting next step in his career with Lehman-Roberts.
John Havas, Assistant Superintendent, shared that Cody’s commitment to the company and its safety culture has been evident throughout his time with the team. “Five years ago, Cody Meyers started here as a groundman, learning his plant from the ground up, learning the rhythm of the yard, and never backing down from the hard work. He is the very first plant operator I have personally trained, and watching his growth has been incredible.”
John continued, “Over the last five years, Cody didn’t just learn how to run the controls; he became a true company man. He is someone who steps up when it counts, takes ownership of the plant, and always puts the team first. Moving from groundman to plant operator to leadman and now foreman isn’t just a change in title—it’s a direct result of five years of dedication, grit, and leadership. We are incredibly proud of him, and there is no one better suited to lead the crew.”
Whether it means taking on a new task or going wherever he is needed, Cody has shown that he can be counted on to support the team. Along the way, he has also grown into someone others can look to for direction.
Blake Kimbrough, Superintendent, reflected on that growth and what lies ahead for Cody, sharing, “Cody has shown what it takes to become a leader quickly in this industry. His dedication, hard work, knowledge, and leadership at Lehman-Roberts is the definition of excellence. I’m excited for his future and to watch him grow as Foreman at Plant 1.”
From starting as a ground man to stepping into the role of Plant Foreman, Cody’s journey shows what can come from continuing to learn, taking initiative, and being ready to help when the opportunity arises.
