Wayne Bishop, Quality Control Specialist
Wayne has successfully completed his hot mix certification for the state of Arkansas. He is now certified to test asphalt in Arkansas, Tennessee, and Mississippi. Wayne’s integration into the team and his management of our busiest asphalt plant have been described as “impressive” by Johnny Houston, Quality Control (QC) Manager of Outgoing Materials.
Don Fletcher, VP of Manufacturing and QC, commented, “Wayne keeps up his continuing education and aligning with our values of continuous improvement.
He continued, “In addition, he loves to share that knowledge and teach others. He’s a people person.” Director of QC Cory Collins closed by adding, “Wayne is a team player who is always looking for ways to become more proficient at his job. This is a perfect example of that commitment.”
Hayden Johnson, Quality Control Technician
Hayden has completed MDOT certification levels 1 and 2, allowing him to test asphalt in Mississippi.
“From his first day, he has demonstrated strong leadership skills and quickly grasped the expectations of his role,” said Johnny Houston. He added, “Hayden has truly stepped up and is willing to do whatever it takes; he is a significant asset to the company.”
Cory Collins also praised Hayden, stating, “He is very ambitious and always eager to learn. We can always count on him to step in wherever needed. Additionally, he is one of only three people here at Lehman-Roberts who is [trained] to operate our profilograph.”
