That is exactly why Contravion “Tray” Saulsberry has been recognized this month in our Blueprint for Excellence series.
Based at asphalt Plant 6 in Hernando, MS, Tray has earned the respect of his coworkers through his strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to take on any challenge that comes his way. No matter the task or circumstance, he approaches his work with dedication and a commitment to helping the team succeed.
Easton Casey, who works alongside Tray at Plant 6 and nominated him for this recognition, shared, “Tray is a hard worker who takes pride in his work. He always steps up to any task no matter the circumstances. Tray always has a positive attitude and puts a positive impact on everyone else around him.”
Tray’s contributions have not gone unnoticed by leadership. Adam Webb, Asphalt Plant Assistant Superintendent, described him as the kind of teammate every crew wants to have. “Tray is the type of guy you want on your crew. He shows up every day ready to work. He consistently does what it takes to get the job done. Very well-deserved recognition.”
Recently, Tray stepped into a new role as Plant Operator, embracing the opportunity with the same determination and positive attitude that have defined his time at Lehman-Roberts. His willingness to learn and grow continues to make him a valuable member of the Plant 6 team.
Asphalt Plant Superintendent Blake Kimbrough shared, “Tray has stepped into a new role at Plant 6 as Plant Operator. He has shown a willingness to learn, a great attitude, and strong work ethic. We’re excited to see him continue to grow and become a valuable member of our team.”
