Analytical. Adaptable. Never shies away from a challenge. When the name Kelvin Wright is mentioned, these traits are likely to quickly come to mind.
As an invaluable member of the team, Kelvin plays a vital part in overseeing projects, coordinating schedules, and effectively communicating with both contractors and subcontractors. He also meticulously tracks material quantities and handles various other responsibilities.
Balancing recent projects—most notably, our recent repaving of Highway 51 in Covington, TN—Kelvin has been at the helm of several initiatives, leading their execution with flawless precision. Many team members have recently expressed their deep appreciation for this remarkable Field Engineer‘s talents.

On behalf of the entire construction division, Vice President Jeremy Ramberg expressed heartfelt appreciation for Kelvin’s dedication to recent construction projects. He mentioned, “Kelvin’s project had him leading three subcontractors, and [the customers] were really happy with our performance. Thank you for all you do, Kelvin!”
Jarod “JJ” Riles, General Superintendent, mirrored those sentiments by sharing, “Kelvin is a valuable asset to the company. His job knowledge and work planning showcase a skillset that has helped him be very successful in the Field Engineer role.”
With over 10 years of experience as a foreman in our construction division, Kelvin brings exceptional job knowledge and a deep understanding of the intricacies involved in planning roadwork projects. His expertise makes him an invaluable asset on the job site.
JJ went on to add, “Kelvin is always up for a challenge and does not mind taking on the extra workload, which helps our project management team and superintendents focus on other tasks. He takes time with the foremen to help teach them or show them different ideas when out on jobs so they can be as successful as possible.”
When he’s not meticulously coordinating job sites, Kelvin demonstrates his humility by taking the lead in various team initiatives, such as overseeing employee service projects and orchestrating the recent relocation of equipment and tools to our newly constructed Fab Shop at Asphalt Plant 6. As the project lead, he guided the team to a successful and seamless site move, completing the task in an impressive 20 days.

Preston Bryson, Superintendent, stated, “I have worked with Kelvin since he started here at Lehman-Roberts. He’s truly taken on his role and is doing an excellent job at it. Kelvin has been a great help to our team, taking on many tasks. He likes the jobs done right and will do anything to make sure that happens.”
Michael Frizzell, Lead Project Manager, added, “Our team wouldn’t be able to make it without Kelvin. He’s been a lifesaver.”
Kelvin, our entire team shares immense thanks for your consistent dedication and remarkable work ethic. Way to go!
