Honoring Jasper Adams’ Retirement

In 2002, Jasper began his journey as a groundman with our sister brand, Memphis Stone and Gravel, A Granite Company. In 2008, he officially joined Lehman-Roberts as an equipment operator, a position he held until his retirement in May 2025.

Throughout his time with us, no matter his role, Jasper was someone we could always count on, consistently delivering his work with efficiency and care. Jarod Riles, general superintendent, shared, “Jasper was always dependable, and you never heard him complain about the job.”

While reminiscing about his time working closely with Jasper, Superintendent Preston Bryson said, “Jasper started on our team running the finishing roller before he took over on the breakdown roller. Both are critical to the job. He was always a good operator… one of our top.”

Greg Ketchum, assistant superintendent, added, “Jasper has always been the kind of person who quietly [lets his work speak for itself], but throughout our time together, I have never doubted his talent on the roller. He truly has a skill set that deserves recognition.”

Foreman Cameron Collins remarked, “We could consistently depend on Jasper. In his role, he was always operating toward the end of the work zone, making our work look good. We never had to look back to make sure the job was getting done because he always took care of it.”

Cameron concluded by saying, “All of our team is really going to miss him.” As Jasper begins this new season of life, please join us in wishing him countless days ahead filled with great joy, peace, and rest!
