Properly maintaining the equipment we rely on every day is essential for maximizing efficiency and setting a productive tone for our workday. TPR, or Total Process Reliability, embodies our commitment to effective stewardship through diligent care and maintenance of our tools and equipment. This month, Martin Menchaca, a broom operator, was spotlighted for how he truly embodies this program.
When asked why Martin was chosen as this month’s TPR Star, Shannon Minga, TPR coordinator, explained, “Upkeeping the brooms every day is a challenge, but Martin always manages to keep them as clean as possible, both inside and out. He always has his pre-op inspections done and runs his brooms with care.”
Greg Ketchum, assistant superintendent, stated, “Martin has excelled with TPR since we started implementing it. He is truly a team member who deserves this spotlight.”
Colton Collins, continuous improvement program manager, added, “Martin is consistently performing and documenting his pre-shift inspections and frequently cleans his broom, exemplifying what it means to be a TPR champion.” He continued, “It is clear when you look at Martin’s equipment that he demonstrates our core value of stewardship.” Way to go, Martin!
