MEMPHIS, Tenn., June 12, 2020 – Lehman-Roberts Co. and sister company Memphis Stone & Gravel, a leader in the highway paving, construction, asphalt and aggregate industry, has promoted Melanie Stinson to Human Resources Manager. Stinson reports to Allen Halliday, Chief Administrative Officer.
“Melanie has played increasingly valuable roles in our HR department for nearly 10 years,” said Halliday. “Her promotion is a reflection of her commitment to both our core values and our team. In her new role as Human Resources Manager, Stinson will oversee all aspects of HR practices and processes, including employee relations, weekly payroll, benefits and compliance. In addition, she will guide talent recruitment, retention and development. Stinson will also play a large role in ensuring the companies’ core values of humility, stewardship, continuous improvement and relationships while supporting safe working environments for all 300+ employees.
Stinson joined the family of companies in 2010 as Payroll Coordinator and has since served as HR Specialist and HR Representative. A graduate from the University of Phoenix, Stinson holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management.
