MEMPHIS, Tenn., August 15, 2018 – Lehman-Roberts Co., a leader in the highway paving, construction and aggregate industry, has promoted Gerald Banks to Traffic Control Foreman and Preston Bryson to Project Superintendent. Both report to Jarod Riles, Construction Superintendent for the Northern Operations.
“Gerald is a tremendous asset to our team, and has really proven his value in just the short time he’s been with us,” said Pat Nelson, President of Lehman-Roberts Co. “And Preston’s experience, attention to detail and safety, and commitment to delivering a quality roadway make him the perfect fit for his new role as Project Superintendent.”
Banks joined the traffic control team at Lehman-Roberts Co. in February of 2017 and was promoted to foreman before his second construction season, due to his industry experience, knowledge and can-do attitude. In his current role, Banks is responsible for design and/or implementation of traffic controls plans, including placement of any needed signage. He also oversees the team of traffic control technicians assigned to each grading and paving job.
As Project Superintendent, Bryson is responsible for managing the details of Lehman-Roberts Co.’s northern paving jobs, coordinating with subcontractors and owners and looking for potential problems that may need to be addressed. Bryson has more than 30 years of experience operating equipment and leading paving crews, which will be instrumental to his success in this role.
