MEMPHIS, Tenn., July 22, 2021 – Lehman-Roberts Co. and sister company Memphis Stone & Gravel, a leader in the highway paving, construction, asphalt and aggregate industry, is pleased to announce the appointments of Matt High as Controller and Tyler Jordan as Project Manager.
In his role as Controller, Matt High, CFA®, will be responsible for supporting day-to-day company accounting operations. Amongst other duties, he will also oversee financial reporting and compliance, in addition to analyzing and interpreting company data. Matt joins the team with 15 years of experience, most recently with International Paper.
“Since joining our family of companies, Matt’s expertise in his field has already been deeply evident,” said Chief Administrative Officer Allen Halliday, to whom Matt reports. “I’m confident that he will grant us an advantage in our pursuit to meet strategic goals and safeguard company assets for the benefit of our team.”
As Project Manager, Tyler will play an integral role in gaining new paving projects through strategic planning and bidding. As a key member of the project management team, other duties will include daily regulation of current projects to ensure optimum performance. Tyler joins the family of companies with 9 years of industry experience, most recently as a project engineer with the Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT).
