Additionally, retaliation, including intimidation, threats, or coercion, because an employee or applicant has objected to discrimination, engaged or may engage in filing a complaint, assisted in a review, investigation, or hearing or have otherwise sought to obtain their legal rights under any Federal, State, or local EEO law is prohibited.
All employees are encouraged to use company facilities on a nondiscriminatory basis and to participate in all programs sponsored by the company. The company will not tolerate coercion or harassment of any employee at any time on the company’s facilities or work sites.
In order to ensure compliance with these EEO policies, the company has designated Melanie Stinson as its EEO Compliance Officer. Any employee or applicant for employment who has reason to believe that this policy is not being complied with is invited to contact the Compliance Officer and make a complaint. Such complaint will be promptly and carefully investigated. If it is found to have merit, appropriate corrective action will be taken. Complaints will be maintained in confidence to the extent possible, and no individual making any such complaint in good faith will be subject to any retaliatory action.
It is the responsibility of all Lehman-Roberts Company personnel both to ensure a workplace free of unlawful discrimination and to demonstrate respect for all co-workers. All members of management are familiar with this statement of policy and philosophy behind it and their responsibilities to apply these principles in good faith for meaningful progress in the utilization of minorities and females.
